I know that this is the last day for many people given the round of emails sent out yesterday. We are hearing talk from several people that they have been requested to “sign papers.” As far as we can tell, those terminated on October 10th were not asked to “sign papers.”
Please take the time to read each and every line of those papers, despite the summary that HR may give you. Ask for a copy of the papers if possible and barring that, please email your cruise director at hellerdrone@gmail.com a summary or description of what you are being asked to sign. And let us know what the recourse is if you don’t sign.
Do not be bullied into signing papers in order to get a final paycheck, or threats to take away your 401k, etc. It is very clear what Heller can and cannot do, despite what they tell you, what they say the banks are telling them, and what they have done in the past.
This is going to be a tough day with lots of emotions. Forcing people to sign papers under duress will only exacerbate the situation. Let’s all try to keep level heads about this, figure out is being signed and then ask if you can take some time to think about it.
Over and out.

My exit interview is at 11 am Pacific. If anyone gets a look at these “papers” prior to then, please post some info so we’re not blindsided. Thanks.

Bleak.
The papers to be signed or reviewed seem to consist of:
HIPPA Notification (portability of medical insurance)
Medical Privacy Notification
Attorney Departure Checklist
Hard Drive Data certification (only client files requested by clients to be transferred have been copied to HD and/or personal files)
California Unemployment Programs Notice
Confidentiality Agreement

It is madness here in Seattle.
No papers, everyone is either gone or will be next week. No management, no guidance.
The records manager from Williams Lea walked out in the middle of the largest records transfer I have ever seen. Thousands of boxes…
Lame.
I guessed they updated the website again. Tt wasn’t like that earlier. It is lame.
The problem I see w/posting opps for HE people online is that, now, everyone has access to the info., including jobs not already listed on company/firm sites. It’s great to consolidate openings in one place, but why not have each employee access a restricted site using their (former) HE numbers? Far as I know, every employee had one.
Believe me, BackRow, these are not new listings. I’ve seen the same openings listed for months now.
