Job Coaching Workshop in LA Rescheduled

Heller Drone here.  I want to give a special shoutout to Jeanne Schad who, in my opinion, is a great friend to all us ex-Hellerites and especially those in the Los Angeles area.  She has put together a great workshop for former Heller employees and it is FREE.  You can’t get better than that!  Please review the info below and if you want the pdf flyer (which I can’t attach unfortunately) please email me at hellerdrone@gmail.com.  What a great way to beat the job searching blues and get a “personal and professional tune up” as I call it.

Two professional coaches are offering a free workshop to former employees of Heller Ehrman Los Angeles on Friday, November 7 from 9:30 – 11:00 am. Location has been moved to the Westside and is now at 4640 Admiralty Way, Suite 500, Marina del Rey, CA 90292.

In this workshop, participants will develop their own personal transition plan and should expect to:

1) Identify what’s most important to you right now
2) Clarify what your next immediate steps will be
3) Find new resources
4) Develop a personalized plan to get you to that next step
5) Feel more confident that you and your family will be okay

The workshop is free to attend and will include information on how you can get further assistance through professional coaching. Space is limited so please RSVP to jschad@internalrelations.com or call 310-306-9898.

Heller Highwater (hellerdrone.wordpress.com)

- Don't be a dill weed.

- Treat other people the way you want to be treated.

- Ladies and children first.

- This is a rescue, not a bitch session.

- Help don't harm.

- Save the snarks for the attorneys and Above The Law.

Heller Highwater is not:

- a place to practice viscious and vindictive "whisper down the lane" rumour-mongering;

- a place to bad mouth co-workers;

- a place for diatribes against specific people or specific incidents;

- a place to heap pity on poor Heller Ehrman staff by outsiders;

- a place that discriminates or sets margins noting who is outside and who is inside - we even welcome supportive Heller Ehrman attorneys!;

- meant to further the demise of Heller Ehrman, LLP.

Heller Highwater is:

- a place for support, a place of empowerment, a place of passion;

- a place to learn about job leads, resume preparation, skill building, training, new opportunities, and how to succeed in a new workplace;

- a place to keep up on the latest news as to how Heller Ehrman management intends to treat its support staff as it winds down its operations - will it be every woman for herself? or will it be "let me hold the door for you and is there anything else I can do for you"?

- a place of refuge.
