Updated Verified Creditors List!

UPDATE: As someone has pointed out, the list issued yesterday is SUPPLEMENTAL meaning that it is in addition to the 12/29/2008 list, not a replacement for the list.  So please, please, please check both lists!!

UPDATE:  since I posted this, I’ve been contact by several people who were on the original Verified Creditors List of 12/29/2008 but now, for some reason, they are not on the 1/14/2009 list even though they still have valid claims.

I am working on getting more information and resolution as we speak.

Yesterday Heller Ehrman filed with the bankrutpcy court a supplemental updated Verified Creditors List.  It can be found here.  Most of those previously omitted from the list filed on 12/29/2008 are now on the list.  Remember that it is this supplemental list along with the 12/29/2008 list which constitute a list of all the verified creditors.

If you submitted your contact info to me, Heller Drone, I have checked it against the current list but for accuracy, please check it yourself as well.  Again, I have removed all home addresses for people on the list due to privacy concerns.

If you find you are not on either list but you feel you have a valid claim against Heller Ehrman, please contact me at hellerdrone@gmail.com for futher information.

This list says “Supplemental” – so I’m guessing that it, in tandem with the first list, represents a more complete list of creditors(?)

I’m assuming most people know how much they are owed, but am wondering if there is a way to check how much Heller thinks they owe any one person?

dare: There will be a way to check that, but only after Heller has filed its schedules of assets and liabilities. Those are currently due to be filed with the court after Jan. 23.

again, thanks Thomas for all you do to keep us up to date. I’m one of the ones who was left off the first list.

A note from a recent Heller document filed in the Ch. 11 case:
The firm says that it currently has $3.7 million in cash, AR’s with a face amount of $52 million (estimated — by them — collectible value of at least $35 million). These amounts would be beyond the $51 million already paid to the banks.

    Just FYI.
