Claim Deadline Approaching!

Don’t forget that the last day to file a Proof of Claim with the bankruptcy court for money owed to you by Heller Ehrman is Monday, April 27, 2009.

And as mentioned previously, you can have Blum Collins calculate your proof of claim and file for you if you complete their online form and sign a retainer agreement.

Update: the deadline to file with Blum Collins has passed – you will need to go to Proof of Claim Filing Instructions and file your claim yourself.

    Am asking any former Seattle employees who have filed/intend to file proofs of claim – are you including the Washington penalty for unpaid wages as part of your claim? If so, are these liquidated damages? Am reluctant to claim, since I didn’t file a claim with L&I or go to small claims court as a first step.

    Make sure you do indeed include the Washington state waiting time penalty as part of your proof of claim. Per my own query to Blum Collins, yes, it is liquidated damages. You do not need to file a claim with Labor & Industries or sue in small claims court first.
