    sad.

    i miss everyone.

    The firm I got hired by is ok,
    but the culture is not the same.

    Seattle isn’t the same without Heller.

    Has Heller filed its answer in the class action case pending in ND Cal? If so, anyone have a copy to post? Those of us who remain unemployed don’t have Pacer access to get it. Thanks.

    Looking for an old friend named Jameson Lam. Paralegal – great guy. Lost touch and now, without Heller switchboard, cannot contact. Any info?

    If you know how to contact Jo Anne Childress, she might know. She kept a list of former staff and their addresses. He might be on it.

    When finished, the CIGNA Office Building in Denton, Texas would provide a dramatic new home for the company’s regional operations and the company was anxious to move. With 23% of the construction days lost to the rainiest spring in Texas’s history and a completely undeveloped location with no infrastructure for the building, however, the initial schedule seemed impossible. Unfortunately, the leases were ending on CIGNA’s previous locations and meeting the scheduled completion date was critical. This paper discusses the challenges to the schedule presented by significant days lost to weather and an undeveloped job site and how those challenges were overcome with a phased construction schedule, tilt-up construction and a collaborative relationship with the project’s developer.
    The CIGNA regional offices building in Denison, Texas provides a new operations center, call center and administrative facility for this nationally recognized insurance provider. http://build.net78.net CIGNA’s Denison, Texas operations were previously housed in two separate buildings that offered no room for growth and were not considered “employee-friendly” facilities. The new building consolidates the business into one facility and provides a corporate headquarters-quality work environment for employees, with room to grow for the future.

Heller Highwater (hellerdrone.wordpress.com)

- Don't be a dill weed.

- Treat other people the way you want to be treated.

- Ladies and children first.

- This is a rescue, not a bitch session.

- Help don't harm.

- Save the snarks for the attorneys and Above The Law.

Heller Highwater is not:

- a place to practice viscious and vindictive "whisper down the lane" rumour-mongering;

- a place to bad mouth co-workers;

- a place for diatribes against specific people or specific incidents;

- a place to heap pity on poor Heller Ehrman staff by outsiders;

- a place that discriminates or sets margins noting who is outside and who is inside - we even welcome supportive Heller Ehrman attorneys!;

- meant to further the demise of Heller Ehrman, LLP.

Heller Highwater is:

- a place for support, a place of empowerment, a place of passion;

- a place to learn about job leads, resume preparation, skill building, training, new opportunities, and how to succeed in a new workplace;

- a place to keep up on the latest news as to how Heller Ehrman management intends to treat its support staff as it winds down its operations - will it be every woman for herself? or will it be "let me hold the door for you and is there anything else I can do for you"?

- a place of refuge.

Note: in no way, shape or form is Heller Highwater sanctioned, supported or even recognized, (but it is very likely monitored) by the management of Heller Erhman, LLP. The opinions represented here and on each and every page of Heller Highwater do not constitute the opinions of Heller Ehrman, LLP or its shareholders or its management.
