Oy the problems with trying to run a ship-shape operation! Last week the Hair Salon and now this. I’m not sure how to put this . . . well, see for yourself:
Props go out to the wonderful people at Cake Wrecks for all their good work.
One good thing about not having a bakery: management can’t say “Let them eat cake.”
We’ve received a few emails this week about ways to “commemorate” what is going on aboard the S.S. Heller Ehrman. Commemorate is not the appropriate word for a way to remember a maritime disaster – “document” is probably better suited.
I know we have some very capable photographers aboard our vessel. Over the next few days and weeks, try to take some candids of co-workers and friends at Heller. Document what Heller was like as well as the “orderly evacuation.”
Email your photos to email@example.com with the following:
– description of photo and subjects, date, location, etc.
– name of photographer
– brief statement of permission to reproduce photo
I will then put together an online gallery as well as look into a reasonably-priced personal publisher such as Lulu to create a momento.
So – anyone up for the position of Cruise Ship Photographer? There is no salary but I’m sure the rewards are rich in knowing you’ve helped perserve memories.
Over and out.
If you’ve made a recent visit to the hair salon on the Aloha Deck we apologize. Really we do. It will grow out, we promise. Stop by to pick up your $50 free play card to use at the Casino and we’ll be even, ok?
And folks if you see any of these people wandering on deck, politely look but don’t stare and don’t point.
